Overview TeamKids invites you to join as the Second in Charge (2IC) for our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services. This is a permanent, part‑time leadership role that supports our Director of Service in delivering high‑quality care and engaging experiences for children. Service Details Location: Aberfeldie VIC, 3040Shift Pattern: Split shifts – 7:00‑9:00 am (before school) and 2:45‑6:00 pm (after school)Total Hours: 26.25 hours per week Role Overview As the 2IC, you will oversee daily operations, support staff, and maintain compliance with industry standards. You will also collaborate closely with the school community, parents, and our internal teams to create memorable experiences for children. Responsibilities Engage with the school community, attending events and assemblies. Assist in designing and implementing enriching activities tailored to primary‑aged children. Foster genuine relationships with children and their families. Ensure program compliance with industry regulations. Play actively with children, creating a fun and supportive environment. Qualifications Previous experience in before and after school care or education (training available). Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is enthusiastic about childcare. Strong communication skills with children, parents, team members, and school principals. Team player with excellent problem‑solving abilities and a positive, can‑do attitude. Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary‑aged children. Energetic, enthusiastic, and enjoys fun activities with children.
