About the Company Shamrock Civil Engineering is a reputable mid‑tier civil construction contractor with well‑established connections in the civil construction and mining industries. About the Role As a Bid Coordinator, you will prepare tender documentation and identify internal and external resources to assist with proposals. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring our tenders meet client expectations and contribute to the successful delivery of our projects. Key Responsibilities Work closely with cross‑functional teams to gather project requirements and create detailed, engaging tender responses. Perform in‑depth research and analysis to identify client needs and customise our proposals accordingly. Draft, review, and edit bid documents to ensure clarity, compliance, and a strong representation of our capabilities. Oversee the bid preparation process, including timeline management, task delegation, and communication with internal stakeholders. Offer feedback and suggestions to enhance our bidding processes and improve success rates. Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and best practices in bid management. Qualifications and Experience At least 3 years of experience in bid or proposal management, preferably in the construction, engineering, or infrastructure sectors. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and persuasive manner. Strong research, analytical, and problem‑solving skills to identify client needs and develop innovative bidding solutions. Proficient in bid/proposal management software and the MS Office suite. A collaborative team player who can work cross‑functionally and thrive under tight deadlines. A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
