Email Content Writer: Healthtech, Mental Health

Growth For Purpose (GFP) We’re looking for a thoughtful, emotionally intelligent writer who can craft lifecycle content that feels deeply human. You’ll be helping people navigate the messiness of real life (anxiety, burnout, perimenopause, chronic health, self‑improvement and everything in between) through words that meet them where they are. This role is ideal for someone who understands the psychology of communication. How to speak with empathy, reduce shame and build genuine trust through content. Part‑time / Contract | Remote (Australia time zones preferred) About the Work You’ll be writing and optimising lifecycle emails and in‑app messages for health, fitness, and psychology‑driven apps. These include mental health, women’s health, parent support and habit‑building experiences. Turning complex health or emotional ideas into simple, reassuring language Writing personalised journeys that respond to user data (e.g. emotion, archetype, behaviour) Applying psychology and emotional validation to messaging Crafting warm, mobile‑first content with a focus on building relationships & conversion Collaborating with a small creative team (writers, designers, strategists) to ship high‑impact journeys What We’re Looking For Passion for healthtech, mental health and/or wellbeing brands Strong grasp of behavioural psychology , emotional safety, and trauma‑informed language Comfortable writing for sensitive audiences (e.g. anxiety, depression, body image, chronic illness) Skilled at email, app and lifecycle content (bonus if you’ve got skills on Figma and understand push notifications, in‑app messages and product design) Deep attention to the feeling your words create Collaborative, self‑directed and open to thoughtful feedback Based in Australia Nice to Have Experience with personalisation and segmentation in lifecycle marketing Based near Sydney ideally, open to all ANZ applications.
