Our well‑established Australian app with over 100,000 users, and Our new, experimental Lendi app leveraging AI features and next‑gen user experiences. You’ll balance hands‑on engineering with technical leadership , guiding a growing team across Sydney, Brisbane, and Adelaide. You’ll influence mobile strategy, mentor engineers, and drive architectural decisions to ensure our apps remain reliable, secure, and performant at scale. This Sydney‑based position involves 3 days a week in our Head Office , collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams in product, design, and AI engineering. Job Description Lead and evolve the mobile engineering vision and technical strategy. Mentor, coach, and empower a high‑performing growing mobile team. Architect, design, and own our apps – from the UI to the backend connections - from deep‑links to app attribution. Oversee mobile releases, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and performance optimisation. Collaborate with Product, Design, and AI teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable user experiences. Drive adoption of secure‑by‑default practices and ensure compliance with Australian data and privacy standards. Operate mobile apps at scale, ensuring uptime, reliability, and quality for thousands of users. Leverage AI tools and agentic ways of working to improve delivery velocity and code quality. Qualifications 6+ years’ experience in mobile software engineering with React Native and TypeScript. Proven experience delivering and operating production apps on both iOS and Android. Strong foundation in app architecture, CI/CD, and mobile security (encryption, Keychain/Keystore, secure storage). Practical experience with mobile attribution (e.g. SKAdNetwork, AdAttributionKit, Appsflyer, Meta Attribution). Demonstrated technical leadership – mentoring engineers, reviewing code, and influencing architectural direction. Experience managing or guiding cross‑functional delivery with design, product, and data teams. Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills. Nice‑to‑have Exposure to AI‑assisted development or experimentation with AI‑driven app features. Additional Information Lendi Group teams operate across Australia and the Philippines.
