Customer Onboarding & Project Manager Location: Sydney (Hybrid / Remote) Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 AUD (depending on experience) About Octopusbot Octopusbot is an AI-driven ag-tech start-up that forecasts crop yields, planted areas, and grain/oilseed market dynamics for farmers, traders, and food companies worldwide. We help our customers make smarter decisions with cutting‑edge models, satellite data, and intuitive dashboards. We’re seeking a Customer Onboarding & Project Manager who can guide customers through setup and adoption, while also ensuring long‑term success and managing customer‑facing projects. This is a mid‑level role with room to grow as Octopusbot scales. Key Responsibilities Onboarding & Implementation (Primary Focus) Lead new customer onboarding: kick‑off, setup, integrations, and product training. Teach growers, agronomists, and traders how to use Octopusbot’s platform, making them comfortable with the technology. Build and execute onboarding project plans (timelines, milestones, deliverables). Ensure customers achieve time‑to‑first‑value quickly. Create and maintain onboarding guides, playbooks, and training materials. Customer Success Act as the main point of contact for onboarding. Monitor adoption, usage, and customer health scores. Conduct check‑ins, gather feedback, and ensure customers are extracting maximum value. Support renewals and expansions by identifying growth opportunities. Escalate customer needs and feedback to the product/data teams. Project Management Manage small‑to‑medium client‑facing projects (e.g. custom dashboards, enterprise reporting, or integrations). Coordinate between Octopusbot’s technical team and clients to keep projects on track. Track progress, risks, and deliverables, providing clear updates internally and externally. What We’re Looking For 2–5 years experience in Customer Success, Onboarding, and Project Management (SaaS or data/analytics preferred). ⚙️Strong project management and organisational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication.
