About the Role As Financial Controller, you will take charge of the finance function across multiple dealerships in Tasmania. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you'll be responsible for ensuring robust financial controls, delivering accurate and timely reporting, and partnering with operational managers to drive commercial outcomes. This is a pivotal leadership role with genuine scope to make a lasting impact on the group's continued success. Key Responsibilities Oversee financial operations, reporting, compliance, and internal controls. Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes. Prepare and present management reports, budgets, and forecasts. Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements. Support the CFO and leadership team with strategic financial planning. Mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team. About You We're looking for an accomplished finance professional who thrives in a fast‑paced automotive dealership environment. Required Qualifications Automotive dealership experience (non‑negotiable). CA/CPA qualification and proven post‑qualification experience. Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS / Australian standards). Commercial acumen with the ability to turn data into business insights. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
