Operating for over 15 years, we are your local building expert for claims and repairs to properties damaged through insurable events such as storm, flood, fire, impact, or malicious damage. We ensure that every project is handled with the utmost care, from inception through to completion. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Claims Administrator to join our team. If you are customer-focused and have experience with home insurance claims management and coordination, then we'd love to hear from you About The Role: Based from our office in Joondalup, you'll be required to help with the following duties: Management of home insurance claims with our clients and claimants (both online and over the phone) Coordinating trades for approved repair scopes Reporting on works performed and updating claims through the appropriate insurance systems/online portals Ensuring our internal KPI's are achieved About You: Insurance industry experience or experience in coordinating trades for repair scopes is preferred, but not essential Good computer literacy and ability to understand written insurance reports or scopes of work for building repairs related to damage caused by insurable events, or experience working on databases/portals is desired Strong communication skills and a friendly telephone manner to maintain relationships with our insurers, trades, suppliers and colleagues Efficient and accurate with data entry Ability to multitask and manage multiple claims at a time, maintaining composure and remaining calm under pressure Ability to apply critical and creative thinking skills to solve problems as required Able to work independently and remain accountable, whilst still being a part of our close-knit team Empathetic nature, with a strong attention to detail Australian work rights are required for this position If you have limited experience in a similar but have a desire to learn with a positive attitude, you'll learn on the job with the support of our dedicated and highly experienced team This is a high volume, fast paced role within a small but supportive team. Please note - this role is a short to mid-term contract (with a likely duration of 6 months), with the potential for ongoing work for the right person at the end of this contract. Why Join Us?
