Team Leader

We are looking for a dynamic Team Leader to join our team in Weipa. In this role, you will effectively lead a team in the provision of Case Management and Employment Services for the purpose of fulfilling RAEs contract requirements within the region. Coordinate and support Community Teams to provide intensive and culturally appropriate case management and engagement activities for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander jobseekers ensuring flexibility in engagement and employment servicing activities. Coordinate and support regional RAEs case management, employment, activities and training services provided by EMG Capability Partner. Key Responsibilities Facilitate high-quality engagement with Indigenous communities and stakeholders. Identify and develop employment initiatives aligned with community and business needs. Promote EMG services to potential clients and partners. Collaborate with internal teams to implement operational and business plans. Support the development of strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and foster innovation. To provide effective support, coordination, and supervision of job readiness work skills, Identification and tickets for Jobseekers within the region for the purpose of effective case management and employment outcomes. What You'll Need to Succeed Strong background in finding jobseekers employment. Excellent communication (written and verbal), consultation, negotiation and leadership and coaching skills. Exceptional understanding of the RAEs (CDP) and other Government programs. Proven success in managing, leading and coaching teams, implementing operations and maintaining operational performance within the bounds of contractual compliance. Highly developed problem solving, research, conceptual, analytical skills with the ability to develop practical and forward-thinking operational plans and solutions. Demonstrated organisational and time coordination skills, self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook. Sound understanding and experience in Australian Indigenous protocols, practices and affairs. A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance. Ability to interpret and communicate contractual and legislative needs to diverse audiences. Driver's Licence and relevant Child Suitability Card or ability to obtain one. Technology literate including sound skills in using Windows based software, Internet, Email. Significant understanding of the complexity and nuances of working with Government departments.
