Senior Talent acquisition at Avance Consulting (APAC) Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Business Analyst to join our Melbourne team in a support‑oriented role. The successful candidate will act as a critical link between the Development and Operations teams, ensuring seamless alignment of Salesforce solutions with ongoing business operations. This role involves gathering, analyzing, and translating requirements while helping the Operations team understand Salesforce design, configuration, and optimization for effective business continuity. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary liaison between Development and Operations teams for Salesforce applications — including Industry CPQ, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Field Service. Translate technical configurations and designs into clear business process documentation for the Operations team. Lead requirement elicitation for enhancements, improvements, and support initiatives. Collaborate closely with developers to ensure bug fixes and updates align with business needs, operational feasibility, and existing processes. Provide training, knowledge transfer, and process walkthroughs to Operations teams to enhance adoption and support readiness. Develop and maintain support documentation and procedures for ongoing Org maintenance. Support Operations in troubleshooting and incident resolution by clarifying process logic and bridging functional understanding. Identify process gaps, recommend optimization opportunities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure all Salesforce support activities comply with governance, security, and compliance standards. Required Skills & Experience 8–10 years of total experience, including 6+ years as a Salesforce Business Analyst in support or operations‑intensive roles. Strong functional expertise across Industry CPQ, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Field Service. Proven ability in requirements documentation, workflow mapping, and developing user stories and acceptance criteria. Demonstrated skill in translating technical solutions into operational processes for non‑technical stakeholders. Excellent stakeholder management abilities — balancing development priorities with operational realities. Proficiency in Agile methodologies and iterative support models. Strong problem‑solving skills and experience in SLA‑driven environments. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across cross‑functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Salesforce Certifications such as: Business Analyst Administrator CPQ Specialist Field Service Consultant Prior experience in Application Support, Managed Services, or Salesforce Centre of Excellence (CoE) environments.
