FinXL IT Professional Services is a leading consultancy that partners with clients to bridge the gap between business needs and technology capabilities. Since 2003, we've been delivering high-value ICT services across government, finance, telecommunications, and enterprise sectors. FinXL IT is seeking a Senior (Technical) Project Manager to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading telco client on a key transformation engagement. Responsibilities Manage the successful end-to-end delivery of assigned regulatory and risk reduction projects. Lead and define project requirements, scope, and specifics, accurately establishing customer expectations. Ensure absolute commitment to accuracy in reporting related to the data reporting project. Track schedules, manage issues, risks, and dependencies, and develop accurate budgets. Provide robust stakeholder relationship management, including engagement with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). Lead project teamwork and effectively manage a delivery team in a matrix reporting environment. Deliver solutions into the wider business and IT, specifically requiring collaboration with Network Teams. Key Skills & Experience Telco experience is required due to the focus on network/device information and regulatory reporting. Experience as a Technical Project Manager, managing capital projects in the IT/Telecommunications or Financial Services sectors. Demonstrated success managing large, complex data projects (budgets in excess of $5m+). Proven track record managing a delivery team (10+ resources) in a matrix reporting environment. Must be a highly detail-focused person given the nature of the specific regulatory data reporting project. Deep understanding of delivery, effective communication, and the ability to negotiate to achieve outcomes. Professional certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2, etc.) is highly desirable. What's On Offer? Initial 12 months contract, with a view to extend Located north-west of Sydney Hybrid working arrangement to get your best work done (4 days in the office and 1 day WFH) Lead high-priority regulatory and data reporting projects in the Telco sector. Deep focus on managing risk, network data, and ensuring reporting accuracy. Manage large, complex data projects (budgets >$5M+) in a matrix environment.
