VMware Workspace ONE Engineer (On-Prem) Location: Sydney Olympic Park Work Type: Full-time, On-site (5 days per week) Start Date: ASAP Contract: 6+ months contract, extensions likely About the Role We are seeking an experienced VMware Workspace ONE Engineer with solid on-premise expertise to join our client’s technical team in Sydney. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in hands‑on environments and enjoys solving complex endpoint management and network challenges. You’ll be working side‑by‑side with senior engineers in a highly collaborative environment, supporting mobile device management (phones and tablets) across a large enterprise setup. Key Responsibilities Manage, configure, and maintain the on‑prem VMware Workspace ONE environment Provide hands‑on support for mobile and tablet device management Troubleshoot routing, proxy, and authentication issues related to Workspace ONE Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operations of endpoint management systems Support ongoing performance and reliability improvements Skills & Experience ✅ Strong, practical experience with VMware Workspace ONE (on‑prem) ✅ Deep understanding of mobile device management (MDM) for enterprise environments ✅ Familiarity with network routing, proxy configurations, and authentication flows ✅ Experience troubleshooting complex system integrations ✅ Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills ✅ Exposure to Microsoft Intune or similar MDM tools (advantageous) Why Join Be part of a technically challenging and enterprise‑scale environment Work directly with a highly skilled team Long‑term project with strong potential for extension Opportunity to shape modern mobile management practices Interested?
