The purpose is to graduate and retain more First Nations and local resident doctors in the NT to serve the NT community. The admissions process positively selects for NT First Nations and NT resident students knowing that students drawn from local communities are more likely to remain in those communities when they graduate. About the Position As the Project Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the Medical Program Manager with the Australian Government Health Workforce Program New NT Medical School Grant projects ensuring CDU meets the activity workplan milestones and complies with all the requirements of the contracts associated with this grant. The role includes coordinating the projects, supporting internal and external stakeholder consultation and communication, and providing financial, contracts and leasing administration assistance as required. About You An understanding of project management principles including planning, monitoring, and evaluation. Demonstrated competency in data management and analytics. A positive solution-focused attitude, with attention to detail and ability to prioritise work to meet multiple tight deadlines. Demonstrated high-level administrative skills and ability to manage projects. Demonstrated excellent verbal/ written communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality work and stakeholder engagement. Knowledge and ability to effectively use Microsoft Office 365 suite of programs. The base salary will be in the range of $96,559 - $105,992 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $112,974 - $124,010 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
