This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who thrives on innovation, collaboration and driving results. You’ll guide activation across programmatic, paid social and performance channels, shaping smart strategies, overseeing execution, and ensuring every campaign delivers measurable growth. We’re after a natural leader with deep channel expertise, a sharp strategic mind, and the drive to push what’s possible in digital activation at Hatched. What are the key responsibilities of the role? Craft: Lead the development and execution of digital activation strategies that deliver best‑in‑class results for clients Oversee planning and activation across all digital channels - including paid social, programmatic, video, search, and emerging media Guide testing and optimisation of creative, targeting, and channel mix to improve campaign performance Build and maintain relationships with key platform and media partners to drive innovation and value Drive adoption of advanced measurement, reporting, and automation tools to enhance efficiency Ensure campaign implementation is aligned with broader strategic and creative objectives Client: Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, acting as a senior strategic advisor on all activation matters Collaborate closely with strategy, creative, and analytics teams to deliver integrated client solutions Oversee the accuracy and quality of campaign planning, execution, and reporting Ensure deadlines, KPIs, and service standards are met across all client deliverables Proactively surface insights, recommendations, and new opportunities to improve client outcomes Contribute to new business efforts, pitches, and proposals — representing the digital activation capability People: Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing team of digital specialists, ensuring alignment with Hatched’s culture and values Delegate effectively while providing clarity, direction, and constructive feedback Foster a collaborative environment where innovation and learning thrive Manage team workflow, priorities, and resources to ensure consistent high‑quality delivery Encourage experimentation, growth, and knowledge‑sharing within the team Commercial: Drive operational excellence and efficiency across digital activation delivery Oversee budgets, forecasts, and financial management for digital media investments Understand and manage contractual obligations and KPIs tied to client and agency outcomes Negotiate with partners and vendors to drive competitive value and innovation Provide regular financial updates and variance Your key attributes: Experience in digital activation, paid media, or performance marketing (agency environment preferred) Proven experience managing and mentoring a team of digital specialists across programmatic, paid social, and performance channels Strong understanding of digital platforms and tools (e.g. Google Ads, DV360, Meta Ads Manager, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Amazon Ads) Deep analytical capability, able to translate performance data into actionable insights Strategic thinker with the ability to connect business goals to digital channel strategies Experience leading multi‑channel campaigns and driving optimisation and growth Exceptional relationship‑building and client‑facing communication skills A proactive, collaborative, and solutions‑oriented approach Attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy Strong commercial acumen and experience managing budgets and forecasting This role reports into the Head of Performance and eCommerce.
