Join Our Team as a Service Manager We're seeking an experienced and driven Service Manager to lead our Workshop and Yard Operations at our Laverton North branch. Reporting directly to the General Manager-Director, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding our service team, ensuring operational excellence, and championing a strong safety-first culture. This is a full-time role at our Laverton North branch, Monday to Friday (7am - 5pm) offering the opportunity to make a real impact across our business. What You'll Be Responsible For Leading the service department to deliver on agreed budgets, revenue targets, and profitability. Driving a culture of outstanding customer service across the entire business. Building strong, respectful relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders. Overseeing procurement activities and external sales within the service division. Managing and mentoring the field service team. Growing the external servicing arm of the Access Services Group to bring in new clientele. Collaborating with internal teams and nurturing long-lasting stakeholder partnerships. Reviewing and refining processes to drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and seamless service delivery. Upholding and promoting our Zero Harm safety culture across all operations. In addition, you will have: Demonstrated experience managing service teams within equipment servicing, periodical inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs (e.g., EWPs, Lighting Towers, Telehandlers). Strong technical knowledge across diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components. The ability to multitask, prioritise, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while achieving KPI and performance targets. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
