Civil Maintenance Team Member

As a Civil Maintenance Team Member youll be part of a dynamic and supportive team within the City Maintenace portfolio contributing to the delivery of high-quality civil construction and maintenance services across the City of Charles Sturt. Success in this role means : Delivering safe and efficient road footpath and drainage works Operating plant and equipment with care and precision Maintaining accurate records and contributing to a culture of safety and continuous improvement Providing excellent customer service to residents and stakeholders Supporting a child-safe and inclusive community environment. Youll be hands‑on in shaping the citys infrastructure ensuring our public spaces are safe accessible and well‑maintained. About You : As the successful candidate you will : Hold a current MR Truck Drivers Licence and White Card accreditation Have proven experience in civil construction and maintenance operations Be confident operating plant and equipment such as skid steers excavators and backhoes Understand WHS legislation and apply it in your daily work Be a team player who communicates effectively and works well with minimal supervision Be committed to creating and maintaining child‑safe environments Have basic plan reading and surveying skills Be flexible reliable and enthusiastic about contributing to your community Hold (or are willing to obtain) one or more of the following : Work Zone Traffic Management Certificate Skid Steer (LL) Excavator (LE) Backhoe (LB) Licence Confined Space or Working at Heights Certificate.
