Best Blast Southwest is seeking a skilled Sand Blaster - Spray Painter to join our team in Bunbury, WA. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in maintaining and restoring surfaces across a variety of industries. What you’ll be doing Preparing surfaces by removing rust, old paint, and other contaminants using sandblasting techniques Sanding and seam sealing of components before application of topcoats Day to day maintenance of workshop tools, equipment, air compressors and forklifts Ensuring a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail in all tasks Adhering to all health and safety protocols to minimize risks Maintaining and cleaning equipment to keep it in optimal working condition Collaborating with the wider team to meet project deadlines and deliver exceptional results for our clients What we’re looking for Proven experience as a sand blaster and spray painter, ideally within the trades and services industry. Minimum of 2 years full time employment in one position Strong knowledge of surface preparation techniques and the application of various coatings via airless and air assisted spray guns High attention to detail and pride in company reputation Commitment to working safely and following all relevant regulations and procedures Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Must speak and understand fluent English What we offer At Best Blast Southwest, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
