About Marketing and Client Services This newly created role sits within G+T’s Marketing and Business Development group and is focused on strengthening and expanding the firm’s relationships with international law firms. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our global connectivity, deepening strategic partnerships and driving collaboration across jurisdictions. Working closely with the Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Executive Officer, partners and the wider Marketing and BD team, you will lead initiatives that position G+T as a key global partner for complex, cross-border work and ensure our firm continues to be recognised as one of Australia’s most connected and collaborative law firms. About the Role Key responsibilities include: Strengthen and strategically manage relationships with international firms. Deepen collaboration and reciprocity across global networks. Support partners in preparing for and attending international trips and conferences. Lead coordination of major international conferences and networking events. Build and maintain personal relationships with key cohorts at international firms. Identify and implement initiatives to enhance collaboration and referral activity. Produce reports and insights that inform global engagement strategy. Drive innovation in how G+T collaborates internationally, including through technology and data insights. About You To succeed in this role, you will have: At least eight years’ experience in business development or marketing within a legal environment. A strong understanding of the legal industry, international law firm networks and the dynamics of global markets – including the ability to navigate cultural and commercial differences in cross-border environments. A strategic and proactive mindset with a collaborative and driven approach. Strong relationship management, stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Nexl, InterAction, Salesforce) and data-driven relationship management. Demonstrated experience supporting or leading initiatives that strengthen international alliances or referral networks. Tertiary qualifications in business, economics, marketing, communications, international relations or a related discipline.
