As an Employment Mentor, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting people living with disability, injury, or health conditions to unlock meaningful and sustainable employment opportunities. What You’ll Do: Collaborate with job seekers to uncover their strengths, skills, and employment goals. Partner with local employers and community groups to unlock inclusive work opportunities. Provide tailored pre‑employment guidance and ongoing post‑placement support. Achieve real, measurable outcomes with purpose and heart. What You’ll Bring: Passion for empowering people and changing lives. Experience in employment services, or customer service, or community support. Ability to juggle competing priorities, with a strong eye for detail. A real drive to meet goals—not just ticking off boxes but creating realimpact . An engaging and supportive communication style. Not for Profit Salary packaging (hello, more take‑home pay) 17.5% leave loading. A monthly RDO (yes, a day off every month). Willing to obtain a Working With Children Check (we can help). Able to complete a criminal history check. A driver’s licence and access to your own car. Willing to work across other sites within your ESA when needed. Intermediate computer skills in MS Office. Relevant qualifications such as a Certificate IV in Employment Services, Certificate III Disability Services, or similar, would be considered advantageous, but are not essential.
