eCommerce Coordinator – Platypus Shoes, Cremorne VIC 3121, Australia About the Role As an E‑Commerce Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in managing and maintaining the Australia & New Zealand eCommerce websites for Platypus Shoes, ensuring a seamless and engaging customer experience. You’ll work across product uploads, digital merchandising, website updates, and search engine optimization, while collaborating with key teams to drive online sales and growth. Product Enrichment Source product information and complete upload sheets accurately for all new products. Work closely with the buying team & brand partners to ensure all products have the correct product information and imagery, sourcing additional images or information where needed. Write and optimize SEO‑friendly product descriptions that are brand‑aligned. Upload products, images, videos, and metadata into Magento. Coordinate with the in‑house studio to ensure all new products are shot and uploaded on time. Marketplaces Pick up and enrich free stock in warehouse systems for marketplace listing, securing internal buying team approval before ranging marketplace products. Liaise with multiple internal stakeholders to gather product information and imagery. Produce and send out weekly marketplace performance reports. CMS Management Create size matrices & set up brand pages in Magento for new brands. Regularly review category pages to ensure products are up to date and easy for customers to shop. Upload and schedule online product content including descriptions, banners, and promotional assets. SEO Optimize product descriptions, titles, and attributes for SEO visibility. Work with the internal SEO team on product optimization and internal linking where needed. Manage & upload blogs onsite for SEO. Customer Service Manage daily customer requests from online chat and respond to all queries within 24 hours. To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need 1–2+ years’ experience in product enrichment, SEO or eCommerce. Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Detail‑oriented, with a passion for product accuracy, content quality, and customer experience. Familiarity with Magento (or similar CMS) and eCommerce platforms. Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), reporting dashboards, and content scheduling. Passion for sneakers, fashion, and digital retail with an understanding of lifestyle, sport, and streetwear categories. Proactive, solutions‑focused, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multi‑brand environment.
