We are seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Hospital Assistant Grade 3 to join our Facilities and Maintenance team. Responsibilities Support the Engineering Department with routine and statutory maintenance. Assist with manual handling tasks such as moving furniture and equipment. Maintain gardens and grounds, ensuring buildings, plant and equipment remain safe and operational. Support trades staff, respond flexibly to urgent maintenance needs and contribute to a safe, clean, and functional environment for patients, visitors and staff. Qualifications & Skills Practical, reliable, and willing to learn. Comfortable working independently and as part of a supportive team. Willingness to learn basic gardening and handyman skills. Helpful and proactive attitude with flexibility to assist in the workshop. Ability to work independently while following direction. Commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. Previous gardening or handyman experience is valued but not essential – training will be provided.
