Speech Pathologist - Canberra | All Levels Welcome Canberra, ACT A$75,000-$110,000 p/a Healthcare & Medical → Speech Therapy Remote Posted 1 day ago Speech Pathologist – Mobile & Telehealth | Neurodiversity-Affirming Practice Location: Canberra and surrounds New graduates, early career, and experienced or senior speech pathologists welcome to apply. About Us At As You Are Allied Health, we're on the lookout for a passionate speech therapist to join our growing team. Our company was born from a desire to create a space that's affirming for everyone – clients and staff alike. We’re dedicated to being compassionate therapists, strong advocates for our community, and an understanding and flexible employer. We value learning and growth in all that we do, and hope that our new team members do so too We are a small and close-knit team of four (three speechies and one fabulous admin assistant), and we value autonomy, collaboration, and joy in our work. Our team is based across both Sydney and Canberra, but we love to stay connected and support each other through regular connection and shared learning. We strongly value neurodivergent perspectives, and encourage neurodivergent therapists to apply. We aim to create a workplace where you can work as you are. About the Role Mobile/telehealth role: Visit clients at home, school, and preschool, with the potential to support some clients via telehealth too. ‘Fill Your Cup’ days: Enjoy additional 5 days per year beyond your standard leave to do something that fills your cup. Whether it's dedicating time to Professional Development, enjoying a long weekend getaway, or simply taking a mid-week pause to relax, how you choose to fill your cup is entirely up to you Clear and reasonable targets: KPIs are set based on experience and preference. Steady start: We gradually fill your calendar depending on your past experience. Work your way: Do admin from home, a local café, or your favourite library. Supportive environment: Internal and external supervision opportunities to help you grow in your areas of interest. New graduates have access to a professional development curriculum to support learning across various areas of practice. Generous PD budget: Minimum $1500, with room for more based on your needs. Personal resource budget: To keep you well-stocked while you’re on the go. Coffee catch ups and socials: To stay connected with your team. Admin support: For client bookings and scheduling. About Our Clients Our clients are mostly neurodivergent, with many being autistic or autistic ADHDers. They range in age from 18 months to 60 years, though most are school-aged children. We support our clients in the areas of authentic autistic communication and connection, language, speech, AAC, stuttering, and more. We’re proud to work with many neurodivergent families who appreciate our neurodiversity-affirming approach. About You Experience: We are open to considering speechies with all levels of experience. Interests: We would love to welcome a team member that is interested in a wide range of areas, and who may have some interests that are different to those of our current team. Interests in speech sounds/CAS, voice, or dysphagia would be incredible, but not 100% necessary to be eligible for this role. Passion for neuro-affirming therapy: or a strong willingness to learn. Lived experience of neurodivergence is highly valued: neurodivergent individuals are strongly encouraged to apply. Independent and flexible: You thrive in a mobile role and are willing to travel to different areas of Canberra (within a 30 minute radius). Team player: You enjoy staying in touch and joining in on coffee catch-ups. Great communicator: With both your team and your clients’ support networks. Access to a vehicle/ability to drive Qualifications and certificates: CPSP, WWVP, Medicare Provider Number, National Police Check. Ready to join a values-led, neuroaffirming team? We’d love to hear from you. About As You Are Allied Health Sydney, NSW, Australia Looking for More Opportunities?
