This School-Based Traineeship offers students the chance to earn a Certificate III in Health Service Assistance (Nursing) and gain valuable hands‑on experience working alongside registered nurses in a hospital or care setting. As a Health Services Assistant trainee, you’ll support nursing staff by helping patients with everyday tasks such as feeding, getting around, and personal care. You’ll also learn how to record important health information and communicate with the healthcare team to ensure patients receive the best care possible.
