As an AO3 Communication Officer , you’ll play a vital role in connecting communities with critical infrastructure projects. Classification: AO3 Engagement Type: Full-time, 9 months contract Hourly Rate: $47- $52 per Hour What You’ll Do Craft high-quality communication materials: from correspondence and flyers to social media posts and web updates. Keep communities informed by developing project webpages and maintaining online platforms. Support stakeholder engagement for low-risk projects, including responding to inquiries and managing the 1800 phone line. Prepare and distribute project flyers and updates that make an impact. Manage the correspondence tracker and ensure timely responses. Source stakeholder contact details and lot number information; maintain accurate records in spreadsheets and Consultation Manager. Generate analytics reports to measure communication effectiveness. Attend stakeholder meetings with Program Engagement Officers and contribute to positive engagement outcomes. What We’re Looking For Exceptional written communication skills—you can turn complex information into clear, engaging content. Experience creating and updating web content and social media posts. Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. A collaborative attitude and confidence engaging with stakeholders on low-risk matters. Desirable Skills Knowledge of government communication protocols and stakeholder engagement practices. Familiarity with QTRIP projects or infrastructure-related communications.
