Role overview We are partnering with a State Government team to recruit an AO3 Communication Officer to provide vital communication and stakeholder engagement support across planning, pre‑construction and construction projects. This is a full‑time temporary opportunity offering exposure to large infrastructure programs in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. The AO3 Communication Officer will support the delivery of clear, timely and well‑written communication materials and assist with low‑risk stakeholder engagement activities. The role plays a key part in supporting project teams by managing day‑to‑day communications and administrative tasks, allowing senior team members to focus on higher‑risk and urgent matters. This is a casual temporary contract until Mid August 26 with guaranteed full time hours. Key responsibilities Develop written communication materials including correspondence, flyers, web content and social media posts Support stakeholder engagement for low‑risk infrastructure projects Manage and update project webpages, including analytics and reporting Develop and maintain internal and external webpages, including The Hive Prepare project flyers and coordinate distribution Respond to low‑level stakeholder enquiries, including calls to a 1800 number Manage and maintain correspondence and stakeholder trackers Source and record stakeholder contact details, property and lot information Enter and maintain data in spreadsheets and consultation management systems Assist with, or attend, stakeholder meetings alongside engagement officers About you Experience in communications, media, stakeholder engagement or a related administrative role Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, audience‑focused content Confidence engaging with stakeholders on low‑risk matters Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Experience in government, infrastructure or project environments is desirable If you would like to discuss this opportunity further, please apply via SEEK or reach out for a confidential conversation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
