Work Hours Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM – this role requires Full Working Rights in Australia. The Role As the Cleaning Services Manager, you will oversee the daily operation of our cleaning team. You will turn curious visitors into loyal customers while supervising and leading a team dedicated to providing award‑winning retail customer service. The role focuses on developing a high‑performing cleaning team, efficiently managing all day-to-day cleaning operations, including staff training, cleaning service delivery tracking, rostering, auditing and many other operational requirements. Responsibilities Managing a cleaning team Providing effective leadership to cleaning personnel, including mentoring and training. Leading and inspiring team members to deliver superior guest experiences Performing administrative functions such as incident reporting and assisting with staff rosters Meeting and exceeding contract cleaning requirements Developing and maintaining excellent customer relations with the client Understanding customer’s security, environmental and safety requirements Following Occupational Health Safety and Environmental policies and procedures Responding to general cleaning, periodical, preventative and emergency incidents or queries Qualifications Minimum of 1‑2 years’ experience in retail/commercial cleaning Previous experience managing a team Strong understanding of hard floor cleaning practices and related machinery Knowledge of cleaning practices, including infection control Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good administrative skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications Ability to give direction and instruction to people Ability to multi‑task, be flexible and work under pressure Consistent attention to detail Availability to work weekends What We Offer You Reward and recognition incentives Ongoing training and development A safe and supportive working environment Career development A family‑oriented culture Uniform provided Diversity Commitment Assetlink is committed to maintaining, growing and supporting our diverse and inclusive culture, by seeking and promoting diversity within each of our work sites.
