Downer is seeking a Cleaning Services Manager to join our Government and Integrated Facilities Management team and manage front-line cleaning activities across a portfolio within the Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM) contract. Base pay range A$70,000.00/yr – A$80,000.00/yr What You’ll Do Plan, organise and prioritise work to meet targets and strict deadlines, and provide timely and accurate information to internal and external stakeholders. Develop effective working relationships with the client and contract team to ensure successful delivery of all operational cleaning projects. Build and maintain mutually beneficial client relationships and promote our range of services, actively seeking new business opportunities and driving growth within the contract. Regularly monitor contract performance to ensure compliance standards and KPIs are met and that service is provided in accordance with the specifications and terms of the contract. Lead and ensure all work tasks are completed in a timely, accurate and compliant way. What You’ll Bring A qualification in Cleaning Operations is desirable, or tertiary qualifications in a business or commerce related discipline, or equivalent professional training and experience. Proven experience in the management of multisite cleaning operations under a commercial arrangement. Experience working in a professional cleaning capacity, with preference for commercial contract management, including contract and KPI management, client relationship development and contract growth, and day-to-day administrative and auditing tasks. Demonstrated experience reviewing work schedules and client reports, and other performance data used to measure goal achievement and determine areas needing improvement. An understanding of integrated facilities contracts and statutory obligations.
