Anduril is seeking an experienced Configuration Manager to support Anduril’s configuration management and change control activities for its Maritime Business. The role includes the opportunity to define and commission a digital engineering infrastructure from scratch that will enable best-in-class capabilities in model-based engineering, digital factory design and digital manufacturing. As a Configuration Manager, you will work closely with the leaders of critical Anduril programs to manage a highly dynamic and fast-paced design and engineering environment. The Configuration Manager will be the focal point for capturing and defining the baseline for a program’s requirements, design, testing, manufacturing, and sustainment data structures (requirements baseline, EBOM, MBOM, SOM, BOP etc.). In addition, the Configuration Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing the product baseline across Anduril and its key development partners. Responsibilities Be an integral partner to Anduril’s Product and Program Teams by: Defining the configuration management plans for key programs. Ensuring that supported programs have robust and comprehensive configuration identification processes and documentation. Managing the end-to-end configuration control process including engineering release and facilitating critical configuration control forums (CRB, TRB, CCB, etc.). Working with Configuration Management Analysts to build and maintain configuration status accounting dashboards and ensure critical data is captured, recorded, and distributed (decisions recorded, ECRs and ECNs populated, implementation checklists written, etc.). Coordinating configuration audits (functional and physical configuration audits). Own end-to-end change management for key programs: Ensuring that all engineering change requests are documented, reviewed, and communicated in a timely manner. Setting agendas for configuration management meetings (Technical Review Board, Change Control Board, etc.). Generating and submitting change requests, including synthesis of impact analyses. Executing and implementing change notices, ensuring completion of change implementation activities and updates to Engineering and Manufacturing Bills of Materials, and setting change effectivity. Analyzing the integrity and efficacy of the change process (e.g., cost of change, rate of rework). Managing and curating program configuration data for critical design gate reviews (PDR, CDR, MRR). Be the leader for critical configuration management activities and forums: Organizing and managing configuration control forums (Change Review Board, Change Control Board), including scheduling and facilitating materials (business cases, inventory disposition recommendations, effectivity analyses, etc.). Leading the change control board meetings and driving discussions to decisions. Communicating and distributing conclusions and decisions from configuration management forums (CCB, TRB, etc.). Be responsible for product configuration: Analyzing product baselines (EBOM, MBOM, etc.) in Teamcenter for compliance to standards. Supporting configuration management reviews and audits (FCA/PCA) and guiding activities to prevent or resolve issues. Performing periodic audits of as-built records as product definition data in Teamcenter (EBOM, MBOM). Be a cross-functional facilitator to manage and implement engineering change: Collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain to understand proposed design changes and impact. Conducting thorough impact assessments with stakeholder teams to identify risks and mitigation strategies. Be the expert resource for Engineering Release and Change Management standards: Modeling the use of Teamcenter to manage engineering changes, revisions, and BOM updates. Guiding Engineering teams in configuring EBOM/MBOM/SBOM and related workflows. Defining schema for configuration management tools and supporting continuous improvement of processes and tools. Developing and delivering training for Engineering teams on change management processes and tools. Be part of the team defining the future of digital engineering at Anduril: Partnering with engineering teams to set requirements and identify improvement opportunities. Building an end-to-end digital thread from requirements to the maintained record. Mentoring and developing configuration management analysts. Leveraging AI tools to drive speed, accuracy, and efficiency in configuration management activities. Required Qualifications 5+ years of proven direct product configuration management experience (product structure, parts, drawings and requirements management). 5+ years of experience in a high-rigor environment (aerospace, automotive, security systems, medical devices, nuclear, etc.). Familiar with configuration management principles and practices (EIA649/C, MIL-HDBK-61B). Experience with PLM and/or data management toolsets for configuration management of complex products. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to synthesize complex data into clear decisions. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). BA/BS in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Nuclear, Naval, Manufacturing, etc.). Ability to earn trust and contribute to an inclusive culture. Must be able to obtain and maintain an NV2 security clearance. Preferred Qualifications Experience in aerospace or shipbuilding industries. Proficient in technical writing of processes and procedures. Experience with Teamcenter, Teamcenter Requirements, Teamcenter Quality, JAMA, Confluence & JIRA. Certification in CM2 or equivalent configuration management certification.
