Lead Solar and Battery Installer - Residential and Commercial Reclaim Solar Energy is a fast-growing leader in the solar industry, delivering large-scale residential, commercial, and government projects across NSW focused in the Hunter Region. As we expand our portfolio of major residential community projects, we are seeking a dedicated, experienced and motivated Lead Solar/Battery Installer to lead a team to execute solar and possibly battery installation in residential and commercial fitouts. The Lead Installer will be responsible for coordinating their team to ensure that jobs are executed in a timely manner while ensuring Quality Assurance, HSE requirements and ensuring compliance with Government, company and client compliance. The Lead Installer will ensure the designs are met and all documentation is adhered to by themselves and their team while on site. Safety and Compliance is a crucial element to this role. Key Responsibilities Job Planning and Execution with Team Coordinate and oversee all stages of installation on site with staff to ensure utilised appropriately Execute jobs in a timely manner with expectations and communicate immediately on delays Responsible for overseeing Apprentice training and education while on site while ensuring safe working practices and conditions and providing constructive feedback and education. Address onsite issues promptly and professionally, maintaining alignment with Reclaim Solar Energy’s expectations Safety, Compliance and Quality Maintain a strong safety culture across all sites Lead by example Job system updated and compliance records completed Quality & Professional Standards Uphold Reclaim Solar Energy’s standards for workmanship, quality and presentation Maintain a clean, professional personal appearance and a well‑presented work vehicle Represent the company with professionalism at all times, protecting and enhancing its reputation Collaboration & Company Culture Be a team player Contribute to a positive, solutions‑focused company culture Offer improvement suggestions and take initiative to implement positive changes Contribute to our culture in a positive way Growth & Development Ensure your Accreditations are current and compliant (CPD points, SAA Accreditation etc) Be active in your knowledge expansion by engaging with tech support when required on site Key Attributes Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills Attention to detail and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement Passionate about renewable energy and contributing to a sustainable future Essential Criteria - Only Applicants with the Below will be Considered in addition to the above items already noted Minimum 3+ years working in similar role (electrical leading hand or supervisor role) Electrical Accreditation Strong attention to detail Strong organisational skills and demonstrated experience to manage and coordinate multiple projects Valid Australian Drivers Licence Valid rights to work in Australia Construction Whitecard Desirable Criteria - Advantageous but not Essential for Applicants Experience in Service M8 Previous experience in construction or electrical highly advantageous Working at Heights First Aid/CPR Certificate Battery accreditation/experience What We Offer Reclaim Solar is a tight knit team that encourages personality and acceptance of individuals.
