What you'll do: Assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, including busy grill section to ensure smooth and efficient service. Develop and refine menu items alongside the Head Chef, showcasing your culinary creativity and understanding of seasonal flavors. Lead by example, motivating and mentoring junior members of the kitchen team. Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and food safety in the kitchen. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment, fostering a strong team spirit. Who you are: You're a qualified chef with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a busy kitchen environment or qualified chefs with Certificate IV and Diploma of Hospitality. You possess a strong understanding of classical culinary techniques and contemporary trends. You're passionate about using fresh, seasonal ingredients to create dishes that are both delicious and visually appealing. You're a natural leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can handle pressure with a calm and positive attitude. You're eager to learn and grow, constantly seeking new ways to refine your skills and contribute to the team. What we offer: A competitive salary package $80000 to $85000 plus superannuation.
