About the role We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative HR leader to join us as Manager – HR Global Process & Data Owner . Reporting to the VP – Global Process and Strategy Enablement, you will oversee the integrity and optimisation of our global HR processes, data, and systems. In this pivotal role, you’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure our HR operations are robust, standardised, and continuously improving. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and enabling our HR function to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes across all our regions. You will contribute to the ongoing development and execution of our global HR strategy by ensuring our processes and data, supported by digital and AI-enabled solutions, advance Orica’s business goals. What you will be doing Serve as the primary point of contact for standardised HR processes and data, providing expertise and guidance to the HR community Maintain business rules and ensure ongoing governance of HR processes Evaluate and endorse change requests, participating in Change Request Board meetings and collaborating with other process owners Conduct regular audits to ensure HR data integrity and alignment with standard processes, and track closure of actions Lead a small team of HR Excellence Specialists, supporting their development and performance Generate and maintain HR reports and metrics to support business needs and compliance, leveraging digital tools and AI-driven insights where appropriate Drive continuous improvement initiatives and embed best practices across HR operations, including the adoption of AI and automation to enhance efficiency and decision-making Collaborate with the HR Master Data Organisation to resolve business-impacting issues, using data analytics and emerging technologies to identify root causes and solutions Monitor compliance and review non-conformance trends, providing solutions to business challenges and championing the use of digital and AI-enabled approache What you will bring Role ideally suited to individuals with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in a similiar global HR process, data governance, or HR operations leadership role. Deep experience with SuccessFactors, or similar SAP platforms. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders. Strong influencing and collaboration skills to achieve desired outcomes. Agility to thrive in a changing and growing global business. Demonstrated leadership, management, and coaching skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a high-performing team.
