The Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst – Transaction Monitoring & Ops Reporting to join our Financial Crime Solutions (AML) team based in Melbourne. Reporting to the Manager FC Solutions , this role plays a critical part in delivering technology and data initiatives that strengthen Crown’s financial crime detection and compliance capabilities. As a Senior Analyst, you will design and implement robust analytics processes, develop operational reporting, and leverage advanced data science techniques to improve efficiency and detection effectiveness. You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders and technology partners to translate business needs into actionable insights and reporting solutions. You will be responsible for: Executing data analytics and visualisation activities to support Crown’s Transaction Monitoring program and broader Financial Crime operations. Designing, developing, and maintaining MI dashboards and operational reports for regulatory insights and performance management. Implementing advanced analytics (machine learning models and automation) to enhance detection and operational efficiency. Ensuring data quality, validation, and documentation for auditability and compliance. Partnering with technology teams to optimise analytics platforms, data pipelines, and reporting tools. Monitoring emerging financial crime technologies and recommending enhancements. About You This role is ideal for a data-driven professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for leveraging analytics to combat financial crime. You’ll bring a collaborative mindset, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. You will also bring: Practical experience with data analytics and visualisation tools (e.g., SQL, Python, PowerBI, BigQuery). Experience implementing financial crime analytics initiatives within a consultancy, financial services and/or gaming environment is preferred. Ideally have exposure or an interest in AI/machine learning model development for operational improvement. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. A relevant degree (or currently studying) in Data Science, Computer Science, or IT. Ability to obtain required Casino Employee Licences.
