APPLY NOW Enhanced Lifestyles Board Membership Seeking Treasurer and New Members Join the Enhanced Lifestyles Board of Directors Help shape one of SA’s longest-running, member-governed disability service providers About Enhanced Lifestyles More than 30 years ago, a group of people living with disability recognised that they were best placed to shape the supports they needed. By building on their lived experience, they created truly individualised services – designed by and for the people who use them. Today, Enhanced Lifestyles continues that legacy as a member‑governed not‑for‑profit, with a Board primarily made up of customers. Grounded in lived experience, our services are built to reflect what matters most to the people we support. Support we offer Support in your community Support in your home Supported Independent Living Personal care Complex care Support Coordination Psychosocial Recovery Coaching Our Board The Board of Directors sets the organisation’s strategic direction, ensuring governance, compliance, and alignment with our values. Appointments are for fixed terms and include a modest stipend. Meetings are held 10–12 times per year, usually on Friday afternoons at our Hindmarsh office (online attendance available). We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds who share our vision for inclusive, person‑led support. Lived experience with disability is highly valued but not essential. Preferred Skills and Experience Governance, executive, or leadership experience Expertise in one or more of the following areas Finance, accounting Health, nursing or clinical Human Resources, Law or industrial relations Disability or aged care services Not for profit operations/leadership or governance You must have a collaborative and inclusive approach with a commitment to disability rights and community participation.
