At Breakthru we are proud to be Great Place to Work Certified About the role… We have casual positions available in our Community Supports program across a number of locations in New South Wales : Dubbo, Port Macquarie, Taree, Penrith / Campbelltown; Queensland : Atherton, Townsville. In this program, you will support people to : Access the community for shopping, appointments and day‑to‑day activities including transportation where required. Participate in a range of scheduled activities such as cooking, art, outdoor physical activities and excursions. Engage in social events. Prepare meals and other simple in‑home supports. About You… This wonderful opportunity is available immediately and is open to candidates with a range of experience. You may be someone wanting to take time out from delivering complex or challenging essential services; have lived or living family or personal experience of disability that you’d like to turn into a career; need extra shifts to supplement your current work; or you may just be starting out and wanting your first role in the disability space. Whatever your situation, we are looking for reliable people who are passionate about community connection, who enjoy developing relationships with people, and genuinely get excited to see others achieve. We are specifically looking for candidates who can provide good availability and work an occasional weekend. In return we can offer successful matches with consistent shifts and the opportunity to go permanent part‑time with us. The casual pay range on these positions is between $40.25 – $43.92 per hour. Relevant certificates or qualifications with at least 12 months experience attract the higher rate. Weekend shifts attract additional loading on your rate.
