We are looking for a skilled Databricks Developer to design, develop, optimize, and maintain ELT pipelines and data engineering workflows in a modern cloud data environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and big data technologies, along with strong problem‑solving abilities and a commitment to data quality, performance, and best practices. Must-Have Skills & Experience Strong hands‑on experience in designing and developing ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks . Proven ability in optimizing and maintaining data workflows , ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity. Expertise in performance tuning , monitoring, and improving data solutions. Experience in data modeling and/or Power BI semantic modeling . Proficiency in notebook development using Python, SQL, and/or PySpark . Strong understanding of data engineering best practices , including data governance, security, and scalable design. Good-to-Have Extensive experience building data pipelines in a Databricks Lakehouse environment. Strong knowledge of Spark and other big data processing frameworks. Excellent coding skills in SQL and Python . Solid background in the Azure Cloud ecosystem , particularly advanced ADF development. Additional experience in data modeling and analytical data structures. Key Responsibilities Support & Operations Provide on‑call troubleshooting for production systems and data pipelines. Support escalated cases , identify root causes, and ensure timely resolution. Mentor and guide new team members, helping them understand support processes and best practices. Identify problem areas within existing data solutions and recommend effective technical improvements. Contribute to building internal knowledge repositories , documentation, and reusable components. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (preferred). Strong practical experience with cloud data engineering tools, particularly Azure + Databricks . Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills. Ability to work in fast‑paced, collaborative, and agile environments.
