Why You’ll Love This Role As an Area Manager at BOUNCE , you’ll be the heartbeat of multiple venues—leading, coaching, and inspiring Venue Managers to deliver unforgettable experiences and outstanding results. You’ll take the lead on operational performance, safety, team engagement, and customer experience, ensuring every venue lives and breathes the BOUNCE mission: Bring the Love and Inspire Progression to Grow the Tribe. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you’ll drive performance across your region, balancing people, culture, and commercial outcomes. Based between our Brisbane and Gold Coast venues, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a fast‑growing, purpose‑led business. In this role, you’ll be directly responsible for leading 7 venues across the state. How You’ll Make an Impact Lead & Inspire: Guide Venue Managers to build high‑performing, motivated teams who bring energy, accountability, and care to everything they do. Drive Financial Performance: Take ownership of the QLD State P&L delivery—leading Venue Managers to achieve revenue growth, manage labour, and optimise cost control. Build a Culture of Performance: Set the standard for excellence by coaching, supporting, and holding Venue Managers accountable to results. Create a high‑energy, high‑accountability culture where success is measured through both commercial and customer outcomes. Coach & Develop Leaders: Mentor Venue Managers, fostering growth, confidence, and readiness for progression. Build the next generation of BOUNCE leaders. Champion Safety: Model and embed a culture where safety and wellbeing come first—for our teams and every guest who walks through our doors. Optimise Operations: Support Venue Managers to deliver efficient, well‑presented, and profitable venues through strong planning, systems and reporting. Enhance Experience: Use customer feedback (including NPS insights) to continuously lift service, drive repeat visitation, and build loyalty. Collaborate & Influence: Partner with Support Office teams to execute national strategies and ensure every venue delivers a consistent, world‑class BOUNCE experience. What You Bring to the Team 3–5+ years of multi‑site leadership experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing business (hospitality, retail, fitness, recreation, or similar). A genuine passion for people — you lead with care, communicate with clarity, and build strong, lasting relationships. A strategic mindset with a sharp understanding of operations, efficiency, and commercial drivers. The ability to inspire and develop others , turning potential into performance and ideas into action. A strong sense of accountability and ownership — you lead from the front and do what it takes to get things done.
