Teacher Library - Riverstone Public School Riverstone Public School is located in Western Sydney and is part of South Creek network. The school is located on Dharug land. Our school has a student enrolment of 680. This includes 5 inclusive classes and a 2 unit preschool. Students come from a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds with 15% of students identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples and 54% from an English as an Additional Language or Dialect background. At Riverstone Public School we offer a wide range of learning experiences and focus on success for all students. Selection Criteria Approval to teach Primary‑Library or currently undertaking or currently enrolled in Primary‑Library qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a collaborative team and build positive relationships with students, staff and the broader school community. Demonstrated ability to engage all students through innovative teaching and learning experiences, promoting critical and creative thinking, digital literacy and a love of literature. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a school library using the Oliver Library Management System, including budget and resources management. Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
