(FULL TIME) SYDNEY CBD - BASED STUDENT STUDY TOURS OPERATIONS MANAGER As a global education services provider with presence in the UK, Australia and Singapore, BlueSky Education delivers short term and skills-based programmes for students in 10 locations including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, China, Korea, Japan, Bali and Sri Lanka. Our in‑person short courses are designed to prepare students for their future with a variety of programmes which cater to skills needed in the years to come, whether that be learning how to code in our Robotics Programme, how to be business ready in our Business Management Programme or how to become a fantastic speaker in our Public Speaking & Leadership programme. There is something for everyone at BlueSky Education and we want students to come away with not only better English skills but also life skills which they can take with them through life far after camp has ended. OUR STUDY TOUR OFFERINGS We work with one of the biggest study travel agencies, English tutoring centres, and public and private schools in Japan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China. Our current Australia and New Zealand offerings include one‑day to 3‑week long campus or homestay programmes in Public Speaking, Sustainable Future, Business & Startup, local school immersion, campus Brothers & Sisters programmes and guest speaker sessions. We are an authorised agent of NSW Department of Education since 2017. More details on our exciting programme offerings can be found in our brochures: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES As our study tours are gaining popularity and our expansion from Australia to New Zealand is underway for 2026, we are looking for a full‑time Sydney‑based Study Tour Operations Manager to manage and continue professionalise our camp operations to achieve efficient use of our team resources and ensure highest customer satisfaction. This will be one of the most crucial roles in our company as programme delivery quality is what decides if our clients will return for more business with us in the following year. Working with an international team based in Singapore, Vietnam, China, Korea, Brazil and the Philippines, you are responsible for planning and executing Blue Sky Education educational study tours in Australia. Specifically, you will be responsible for the following areas: Manage and ensure a professional, dynamic and positive relationship with various accommodation partners including Australian universities, colleges and private accommodation providers across all cities in Australia. Book accommodation/classrooms for our camps & manage agreement contracts. Book workshop facilitators, guest speakers and other external personnel needed for programme delivery. Create and maintain a Masterplan allocating resources and monitoring our preparation before camps begin, including progress in recruiting freelancer staff, booking private/public transport and booking student excursion tickets and sports facilitators. Recruit and conduct online and on‑site training to ensure freelancer camp managers and counsellors are adequately trained to perform their roles to the highest standards and professionalism. Coordinate programme logistical arrangements, including briefing, training camp managers and counsellors and creating Travefy itineraries. Manage freelancer camp managers who are hired on a contractual basis to deliver our programmes. Be the point of contact to solve any problem and customer complaint that might arise during camps. Work with freelancer camp managers to ensure our clients (school directors, teachers, chaperons) feel they are listened to and taken care of. Contribute to team effort in producing marketing materials (websites, brochures, videos, marketing campaigns). Coordinate with the marketing team to execute marketing campaigns. Plan and execute multiple camps in various cities across Australia and New Zealand while being based in Sydney. REQUIREMENT This role best suits candidates with 4‑7 years of work experience with events/hotel/hospitality or ESL teaching who appreciate a dynamic role, not a typical 9am to 5pm role. You will not be sitting in an office all day and doing the same thing. You will be on campus with our students and clients when programmes are running (Feb‑March, June‑August) and return to your office during the low season. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in events, hotel, hospitality or ESL teaching. To excel in this role, you will need to be well‑organised, have a warm, energetic personality and can‑do attitude. We are looking for candidates with the following attributes. Bachelor degree holder with full working rights in Australia with strong local knowledge. An extroverted personality, with a willingness and capacity to extend themselves and embrace new challenges such as leading group activities and conducting team‑building activities and sports. Being well organised, self‑managed. Ability to self‑learn, think critically, do research and individually find solutions to problems before seeking help. Ability to organise multiple tasks/camps into a workflow that the broader team can collaborate on. Approaches work with a flexible 'can‑do' attitude. Ability to build rapport with students and clients. Enjoy working with teenagers and young students. Computer literate and proven competence in administration. Flexible, adaptable and solutions‑focused. Effective communicator with a well‑projected voice. Experience in educational study tours, events & hotels management and hospitality is highly desirable. Eyes for details and ability to seek technology tools to improve programme planning organisation and efficiency is highly desirable. ESL teaching qualifications (TELSO, CELTA) is a plus. Working knowledge of the HubSpot CRM system is advantageous. Working with children check. WORKING ARRANGEMENT A hybrid working arrangement is available with Monday to Thursday working in the office and Fridays working from home. International business trips to Singapore, New Zealand, Korea and other camp locations and interstate trips to Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth to supervise our camp delivery are among the opportunities that this role offers. APPLICATION PROCESS Enquiries about the role should be addressed to Mai Chu, Manager at *******@bluesky-education.com. #J-18808-Ljbffr
