Full-time, two-year fixed term appointment (with 12 Rostered Days Off per year) Salary of $122,469 plus generous superannuation of 23% (following probation) Attractive collective agreement: including hybrid work model (3 in office / 2 from home), annual pay increases, 5 weeks annual leave (plus loading) and access to salary packaging Victorian Labor is seeking a motivated and energetic Manager Partnerships and Events to work closely with Branch executives to identify and implement innovative engagement strategies and fundraising opportunities. The role will involve coordinating, communications, logistics, budget management and event marketing, while working within federal and state legislative frameworks. This position will suit a self-starter who can work independently, set ambitious fundraising targets, and meet them. The Manager Partnerships and Events is key to engaging and growing relationships with existing donors, members and enabling the cultivation of new donor prospects, particularly in preparation for the 2026 State Election and the 2028 Federal Election. You will report to the Senior Director. Key responsibilities Work with the Branch Executive to meet specific fundraising targets. Plan and manage events, including procurement of event spaces, services and talent. Manage the ongoing schedule of state and federal fundraising events by collaborating with relevant executives across the branch, elected members of parliament, candidates and local branches. Report to the State Secretary and Senior Director on campaign fundraising objectives. About you As our ideal candidate, you will have: Experience in corporate partnerships, fundraising, sponsorship, memberships or development. Strong presentation skills, including high-level written and verbal communications. Ability to manage a diverse range of stakeholders and build networks and donor base across corporate organisations, affiliated unions, and not-for-profit sector. Background in providing high-level event support and handling complex logistics. Ability to contribute towards a revenue budget and able to manage budgets, external suppliers and partners. Highly professional and relationship-centred approach with an eye for detail and accuracy.
