Job Description Strategic Leadership : Lead transformation projects in Logistics, working closely with Country DC Leader, driving optimization across our distribution network to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Operational Excellence : Champion significant improvements in Distribution Center (DC) by aligning various transformation projects to ensure year-over-year productivity enhancements that support business growth and adhere to Global Standards. Stakeholder Engagement : Elevate stakeholder management by fostering strong connections and alignment with local and regional Business Groups and Country DC Leaders, ensuring DC Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and shipment performance meet revenue targets. Demonstrated expertise in providing comprehensive supply‑chain consultation, leveraging extensive experience in Transformation/Project Management in the ANZ market. A proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with employees, unions, and stakeholders, fostering a stable and collaborative work environment. Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelor's degree; a Master’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred or equivalent experience. Qualification in EHS/Safety background or a professional training certificate desirable. 10–12 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, and/or Transformation and Project Management. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Power BI. Positive attitude with strong resilience and commitment to overcoming challenges and achieving results. Expertise with current theories and practices in related professional disciplines such as supply chain, transformation projects in warehousing, transportation, inventory/materials control, import/export. Ability to efficiently learn and understand 3M’s global strategy, business groups, structure, and organization as well as external market dynamics. Excellent teamwork with cross‑functional stakeholders, demonstrating independence and decisiveness in task execution. Strong project management, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with a history of delivering consistent results. Proven leadership abilities with negotiation, influencing skills, and capability to lead change/transformation management, including convincing stakeholders to align on business plans. Basic knowledge of Australian industrial relations matters and managing unions alongside 3M HR team. Knowledge and understanding of software such as SAP and other corporate systems relevant to logistics and transformation projects.
