The Role Increment Information Security Engineers implement, configure, and support technology solutions that protect, govern, and secure information assets. Working as part of our award‑winning Microsoft Data Security & Compliance practice, this role is hands‑on in delivering strong data protection and compliance outcomes for our clients. You will partner closely with Information Security Architects and client stakeholders to deploy Microsoft Purview and related security technologies, uplift security posture, and enhance compliance maturity. This is a career‑defining opportunity to work on enterprise‑scale security programs while developing deep expertise within one of Australia’s most respected Microsoft security teams. Key Responsibilities Implement and support data protection and compliance solutions using Microsoft Purview Configure information protection, sensitivity labelling, and data loss prevention policies Assist with solution design, testing, and deployment under the guidance of senior architects Contribute to security assessments, documentation, and operational handover Maintain strong awareness of emerging security threats, trends, and Microsoft security capabilities Provide clear, professional communication to customers and internal stakeholders Desired Qualifications Microsoft SC-400 – Administering Information Protection and Compliance certification (or working toward) Additional certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft Security, or cloud fundamentals highly regarded AGSVA Security Clearance highly regarded Skills and Experience Experience implementing or supporting Microsoft Purview, Information Protection, or DLP solutions Background in security, compliance, identity, or Microsoft cloud platforms Experience working within a consulting, enterprise, or government environmentUnderstanding of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, ASD ISM, Essential Eight Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and configuration skills Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities High attention to detail with strong time management and prioritisation skills Genuine curiosity, growth mindset, and passion for security engineering Why Choose Us?
