Migration Innovation Lead

What You’ll Do Primary Responsibilities: Legal / Case Management Be the SME for anything migration law. Advise clients on visa pathways, eligibility, and strategy. Conduct and support consultations, ensuring compliance with Australian immigration law. Manage and review complex visa and sponsorship applications. Secondary Responsibilities: Innovation & Insight Work with the Product Team to identify legal and operational bottlenecks that technology can solve. Review immigration law, policy, and case updates, distilling key points into concise, structured summaries for the broader team. Provide strategic guidance on platform design and user workflows to ensure legal accuracy and efficiency. Collaborate cross‑functionally to build scalable internal processes, education, and best practices. Contribute to thought leadership through webinars, articles, or public commentary on migration trends. Who are we looking for? Migration lawyer or Registered Migration Agent (active MARA registration) with MIN 3 years of practical and commercial experience. Strong and broad knowledge of Australian immigration law: Partner and Employer Sponsored visas are a MUST Sharp, structured, and strategic thinker, able to distill complex legal material into clear, concise summaries. Confident communicator, comfortable sparring ideas, presenting insights, and advising both colleagues and clients. High standards of professional integrity, client service, and attention to detail. Tech‑literate and curious, comfortable with (or quick to learn) tools. Able to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, evolving environment while maintaining clarity and structure in your work.
