Environmental, Social & Governance Specialist Lead the development and implementation of the Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) framework to ensure compliance with the Australian mandatory sustainability reporting legislation in accordance with Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS) made by the Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB) and overall ESG applicable regulations. Some interstate travel may be required for this role. What you'll be doing Develop a Sustainability Policy and supporting standards. Develop a sustainability report model to meet reporting obligation with Chapter 2M of the Corporations Act 2001. Establish data collection process for scope 1 and scope 2 emissions. Undertake climate resilience assessments using an approach commensurate to the entity’s circumstances. Coordinate with stakeholders to prepare the first sustainability report under Chapter 2M of the Corporations Act for the FY 27 reporting cycle. Develop and implement an ESG risk management standard integrated with the enterprise risk management framework. Facilitate the process of conducting a materiality assessment engaging internal stakeholders. Deliver training and awareness for leadership and key stakeholders. Develop the strategy and plans and coordinate activities with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and AASB standards. Support internal stakeholders in the implementation of the ESG and risk management standards and procedures. Help maintain ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 certifications, conducting internal assurance activities and preparing for external assurance activities. Maintain a document management system compliant with the ISO and AASB standards. What You’ll Bring 1+ years of experience in ESG or risk management. Degree in Sustainability, Environment, Risk or related field. Strong stakeholder engagement and project delivery skills. Experience implementing risk management frameworks, environmental management systems and environmental/CO2 emissions reduction strategies. Knowledge of the climate related disclosure requirements under the sustainability standards AASB S2 and S1 is desirable.
