Responsibilities The Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Coordinator is responsible for the management and development of the Cancer Services multidisciplinary program that includes regular meetings for multiple tumour streams. The position includes the management of MDT meetings, communication with MDT members, ensuring availability of clinical evidences at meetings and recording meeting outcomes with appropriate communication to GPs. The position is responsible for MDT billing to maximise revenue potential. The role includes project development, utilising strong relationships formed in the MDT environment to create opportunities for improving patient and health professional outcomes in a personalised patient care setting. The Coordinator will be highly motivated and resourceful with well-developed interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with clinical staff, senior management and external partners in a high volume and high priority setting. Qualifications Strong analytical skills with demonstrated skills in interpretation of data, advanced skills in Microsoft programs, electronic health records / databases and oncology information systems. Demonstrated experience in managing multidisciplinary groups. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management and other key stakeholders. Demonstrated highly refined organisational skills and capacity to successfully manage conflicting priorities.
