About the role We are seeking an experienced Centre Director to join our team at Grimshaw Street ELC in Watsonia North, Victoria. This full-time role is responsible for the overall management and leadership of our early learning centre, ensuring the highest quality of care and education for our young learners. You will be joining a well-established, thriving centre with an experienced, productive and positive team environment. What you'll be doing Providing direction and operational oversight for the centre, including budgeting, staffing, and compliance Building and nurturing a high-performing, motivated team of early childhood educators Fostering a positive, enriching, and inclusive learning environment for children Engaging with families and the local community to build strong partnerships Ensuring the centre meets all relevant regulatory and quality standards Driving continuous improvement and innovation in early childhood education What we're looking for Minimum 5 years' experience as a Centre Director or in a senior leadership role in the early childhood education sector Demonstrated expertise in early childhood pedagogy, curriculum development, and behaviour guidance Strong business acumen and financial management skills Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management capabilities Passionate about providing high-quality early learning experiences for children Tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification What we offer At Grimshaw Street ELC, we are committed to supporting our team members' professional and personal growth.
