About the Opportunity As Lead Electrical and Controls Engineer, you’ll provide expert leadership in electrical engineering, industrial control systems, and operational technology across CleanCo’s generation assets. You’ll guide strategy, resolve complex plant issues, and drive improvements in safety, reliability, and efficiency. You’ll collaborate with engineering, operations, and external stakeholders to deliver asset management excellence. You’ll also lead a multidisciplinary team and contribute to long‑term planning and compliance across the portfolio. This is a permanent role based in Brisbane, working across all CleanCo sites. About you You’re a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) with a relevant engineering degree and deep knowledge of power generation technologies – including thermal, gas, hydro, and renewables. You bring strong team management and leadership, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to manage complex engineering works across multiple sites. You have: A solution-focused professional with a high-level expertise, independence, originality, ingenuity and mature judgement. Capability to manage engineering works and requirements across all sites simultaneously with competing priorities. Extensive knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation that relate to CleanCo’s assets and sites. Experience in implementing and managing asset management and maintenance systems in a complex, multi-site environment. Ability to apply strong problem-solving competency to complex challenges. Ability to build strong relationships both internally key stakeholders and with external parties. Ability and willingness to contribute broadly across all business units.
