To support recent growth of our business we are seeking an experienced FIFO – WHS Advisor 8 / 6 roster. About the Role The WHS Advisor is part of the site leadership team supporting the Site Supervisors to execute heavy haulage operations effectively and without harm. Well supported by the Head of QHSE, the WHS Advisor will focus on reducing risk, ensuring compliance and promoting a solution focused safety culture. Key Objectives of Position Permanent full-time opportunity on a long-term projectAttractive annual salary plus superannuation on all hours workedWeekly pay (even on R & R)Paid annual leave (20 days) & sick pay (10 days) Position Responsibilities Safety Leadership & Culture Work collaboratively within the organisation to promote, support and foster a workplace culture where the team strives for operational excellence, including outstanding safety performance Facilitate operation of an effective Site Safety Committee To be considered for this role, successful applicants will possess the following : Qualifications Minimum Cert IV in OHS 2+ years in a WHS Officer / Advisor role in a busy environment, preferably in the Mining / Haulage or Construction environment Have excellent communication skills and understand the importance of creating a collaborative / positive work relationship with all members of the team Strong IT skills and report writing abilities Excellent attention to detail Friendly open personality with a good sense of humour Full Australian working rights If this role, our business practices, and your experience meet the above requirements, we welcome your application today.
