Maintenance Production, Supervisor in Seaford ICP Group is a leading formulator and manufacturer of specialty coatings, adhesives and sealants serving construction and industrial end markets. Maintenance Manager – Under the direction of the Plant Manager, you will coordinate all mechanical and electrical maintenance activities ensuring the plant operates at the highest level of uptime and efficiency. The role is hands‑on, performing required maintenance activities and developing supporting staff to higher skill levels. Responsibilities Adhere to OSHA safety requirements and complete all required OSHA or corporate training courses. Coordinate and guide all maintenance activities from start to finish, installing or repairing pumps, motors, conveyors, filler lines and other plant equipment. Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide repair solutions including parts list and timeline. Perform electrical maintenance such as winding motors, VFD control panels and other lower voltage items. Maintain the maintenance shop in a clean, organized, professional condition, following all safety requirements for hazardous materials. Operate forklift, man lift, scissor lift or other similar equipment. Ensure effective communication with production staff and keep supervisors and management aware of pending issues. Coordinate preventative maintenance tasks on key plant equipment and strive to meet safety targets or objectives. Continuously develop maintenance staff through coaching and training. Qualifications Maintenance department supervisor or previous lead mechanic experience. Minimum of 10 years performing mechanical duties in a manufacturing or similar environment. Highly experienced background installing/repairing air pumps, PD pumps, pneumatic valves and gearboxes. Experience with preventative maintenance programs and roll line manufacturing in the roofing, paper or gypsum industries. Advanced education or training in engineering, mechanics or related technical fields. Welding certifications plus strong pipe fitting and electrical skills. Able to read technical documents and install and wire 100 hp electric motors, limit switches, photoelectric sensors, VFDs. Strong problem‑solving aptitude for mechanical equipment. Ability to safely lift more than 70 pounds, work at heights in excess of 40 feet and work in awkward positions. Positive, collaborative interaction with all levels of plant personnel.
