Description Country & Outback Health is a not-for-profit organisation focused on building healthier and happier communities. Delivering a diverse range of mental health, allied health, addiction support, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, NDIS services as well as support services for young people within our headspace centres. Are you passionate about encouraging AOD recovery and building community connections? The Role Develop and implement community engagement plan and strategies by working closely with our multi-disciplinary team to facilitate inclusive and innovative activities. Advocate for improved services and ensure the program is culturally safe and responsive to community needs. Build positive relationships with individuals, lead discussion and focus groups, and serve as a vital link to the community. About You Understand AOD support, harm reduction and prevention services. Experience in community development or health promotion. Knowledge in building and maintaining networks and relationships with other health services or community organisations. Experience in working with community members from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Tertiary qualification in AOD, community services or related field (desirable) What’s on offer?
