A day in the life of a ISEP Community Engagement Officer can include : Develop implement and manage the ISEPs marketing and engagement plan Manage ISEPs engagement methods and stakeholder relationships Enhance and improve the ISEPs marketing strategies and operations Assist the ISEP Team with increasing the positive association with ISEPs among relevant key representatives Work in collaboration with the ISEP Team to explore relevant potential opportunities Assistance in the day-to-day operations of ISEP through staff and management enquiries Support ISEP regarding audits and stakeholder visitations Attend networking opportunities Support Digital campaigns organised local events and meetings Educate and grow awareness of ISEP programs Maintaining the Cultural ethic of the company by respecting Elders and community protocol Prepare weekly report of activities and outcomes for management Attend networking opportunities Skills and Experience Demonstrated experience in administration and establishing supportive youth relationships Knowledge of the local community Demonstrated ability to work in an outcome-based environment toward results Administration skills and attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills Well-developed computer skills Understanding of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people and the issues they face Ability to comply with AKGs code of conduct company policies and procedures and uphold the organisations values in all interactions Well-developed problem-solving and time management skills Please note this role will have travel within Cairns and surrounding communities.
