We’re now seeking a Community Engagement Officer to help drive our engagement and benefit‑sharing programs. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their community engagement career who’s reliable, proactive, and eager to grow in a supportive, purpose‑led environment. About the role As a Community Engagement Officer , you’ll support the planning and delivery of engagement activities across our renewable energy projects, with a particular focus on Queensland. You’ll play a key role in fostering positive relationships with local communities, landowners, councils, and stakeholders – helping to build trust and social licence during the project development phase. This role is primarily remote (WFH), with regular travel to project sites and local communities to deliver engagement activities. Key responsibilities Community & stakeholder engagement Communications & content development Data collection and reporting About you You’ll bring a mix of communication skills, community‑mindfulness, and initiative, along with: 2–4 years’ experience in community engagement, ideally in the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors Strong interpersonal and written communication skills Familiarity with IAP2 principles (desirable) Experience working with or within rural and regional communities (advantageous) Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat A genuine interest in renewable energy and sustainability At ACEnergy, you’ll join a close‑knit, values‑driven team that believes in collaboration, innovation, and doing the right thing by people and the planet.
